As a natural progression of Chad's added contribution to the writing
of Mansun's material, he has decided to try a solo album. He has completed
two tracks for the album, 'It's a parrot' and 'My new melody', and has
chosen the working title of 'Parrot'. The album is not expected to be a
commercial endevour as he states Mansun's group work is a priority, which
probably implies it will not be finished for a long while (so may not get
a release this year) and is unlikely to be backed by singles.
In contrast to Mansun's third album where Paul has written and sung
all the songs, Chad shall write (music and lyrics), play (all instruments)
and sing (lead vocals) all the songs on 'Parrot', though Paul shall be
co-producing it.
